This is a unique and interactive book inspired by traditional Indian storytelling. It’s based on the Kaavad, a portable wooden shrine from Rajasthan. The Kaavad has many colorful panels showing myths and folktales. Storytellers (Kaavadiya Bhats) open these panels and use a peacock feather to narrate stories. Similarly, Nina’s storytelling house encourages readers to talk about home, share thoughts on family, and reflect on identity and belonging.
